Well....you made it to Quechee and you want to eat. First and foremost, let me preface this entry by stating that the diners, sandwich shops, pubs, fine dining establishments, etc.... that I mention are simply all the eating and drinking establishments in the area that are a convenient drive from Quechee, VT. They are not my personal favorites and none of the businesses pay advertising fees to me to mention them in this blog. With that said, here they are in no particular order;

Shepards Pie Bakery and Deli located next to the Quechee post office on the Green

Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm located across from Deweys Pond on Old River Road, Quechee, VT

Parker House Inn and Restaurant located on Main Street Quechee, VT

Firestones Restaurant located in the Route 4 plaza to right of blinking yellow light Quechee, VT

Ramuntos Pizza located in the Shell Station on Route 4 at blinking yellow light, Quechee, VT

Subway located in the Shell Station on Route 4 at blinking yellow light, Quechee, VT

Highland Golf Course:
The Highland Course has the distinction of being named #1 in the State of Vermont by Golf Digest. Playing just over 6,765 yards from the back tees, the Highland Course features a combination of gently rolling and elevated, tree-lined fairways, along with rock walls and bunkers.
Encircled in many areas by stands of trees, and defined by dramatic elevation changes from tee box to green on a variety of holes, this course encourages strategic play and accurate shooting. A number of side hill lies and panoramic views add to the challenge of staying focused and getting that low score.

Lakeland Golf Course:
The Lakeland Course measures approximately 6,570 yards from the back tees and presents more of a links-style design that incorporates trees, bunkers, and water features. A long stretch of the Ottauquechee River runs adjacent to the course, making ball placement and skillful course management key to a successful round.
Its rolling and generally wide fairways often allow your ball to gain extra distance off the tees. With a reputation for playing more easily than its sister course, this course may lead you to more birdies.

How much does it cost to live in Quechee?
2009-2010 Amenity Pricing

All prices inclusive of 6% VT sales tax

Annual Assessment = $3,550 (non taxable)
QLLA’s annual assessment (referred to as QLLA common dues) is a mandatory obligation that must be paid by all Quechee Lakes Landowners. This due is an annual assessment that
is applied to the reserve that maintains all of QLLA’s common amenities and structures throughout the 5,200 acres

All Inclusive Package =

* the all inclusive package at Quechee Lakes Resort provides the benefits of all packages, including Golf, Fitness and Pools, Ski and Tennis at a savings over the cost of purchasing each amenity separately

Benefits:
-children 6 and under may use the pools at no charge
-anyone who purchases the All-Inclusive Package may bring up to 10 guests to the pool at any time, at no additional charge.

Bonus Offer: If you purchase the Quechee All Inclusive Package, you now get
-six (6) $50 non-QLLA guest greens fee coupons
-$50 Food and Beverage gift card for use in Quechee Clubs dining venue
-three (3) complimentary non-QLLA member/guest coupons for the Health Club
-10% off all recreation excursions (canoe and hiking trips)
-Complimentary daily locker use at the Quechee Health Club

Cost:

$3,170.00 for Family Membership (Primary Member, Spouse, or Co-Member, Children age 23 and under)
$1,955.00 for Single Membership (Primary Member or Spouse or Co-Member)
Entitles member to use all faxilities including Golf, Driving Range, Ski, Tennis, Health Club and Pool.

Golf Amenity Package =

*entitles the member to use the Quechee Golf facilities seven days per week based on tee-time availability without incurring daily use fees. Cart fees are not included. (Quechee has (2) two 18 hole courses to choose from.

Benefits:
-driving range amenities included
-access to teel times prior to "non-GAP" members
-7 weekday guests and 3 weekend guests permitted per week
-4 unaccompanied guests permitted per week

Cost:

$2,285000 for Family (Primary Member, Spouse, or Co-Member, Children age 23 and under)
$1,425.00 for Single (Primary Member or Spouse or Co-Member)

Mid Week Golf Amenity Package =

*entitles the member to use the golf facilities Monday through Thursday. Cart fees are not included. No play on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and certain holiday periods.

Benefits:
-driving range amenities are included
-access to tee times prior to "non-GAP" members

Cost:
$1,905.00 Family for member, spouse and children age 23 and under
$1,065.00 Singe for member or spouse

Ski Amenity Package =
*entitles the member to use the Ski Facilities without daily use fees. Ski lessons and ski rentals not included

Cost:

$515.00 for Family (Primary Member, Spouse, or Co-Member, Children age 23 and under)
$315.00 for Single (Primary Member or Spouse or Co-Member)

Tennis Amenity Package =
*entitles the member to use the Tennis Facilities without daily use fees. Tennis ball service machine rentals not included.

Cost:

$490.00 for Family (Primary Member, Spouse, or Co-Member, Children age 23 and under)
$310.00 for Single (Primary Member or Spouse or Co-Member)

Fitness Amenity Package =
*this package provides access to the Health Club and both pools

Benefits:
-no charge for group fitness classes including aerobics and aquasize
-those not choosing the Fitness Package must pay daily use fees in order to gain access to the health club and pools
-children 6 and under may use the pools at no charge
-anyone who purchases the Fitness Package may bring up to 10 guests to the pool at any time, at no additional charge.

Cost:

$440.00 for Family (Primary Member, Spouse, or Co-Member, Children age 23 and under)
$255.00 for Single (Primary Member or Spouse or Co-Member)

Quechee Clubhouse Food Minimum =$500.00
*the food minimum can only be used towards food. Alcohol and service charges are excluded.

Summary:

Quechee is the only true four season resort that offers unparelled services, amenities and pricing. The mandatory annual dues to belong to the resort are only $4,050.00. This price enables all owners and their guests to utilize the facilities and amenities. Of course, if you want unlimited use of all or just some of the amenities offered, you can purchase an amenity package if you wish.....but you are not obligated to.
