Well....you made it to Quechee and you want to eat. First and foremost, let me preface this entry by stating that the diners, sandwich shops, pubs, fine dining establishments, etc.... that I mention are simply all the eating and drinking establishments in the area that are a convenient drive from Quechee, VT. They are not my personal favorites and none of the businesses pay advertising fees to me to mention them in this blog. With that said, here they are in no particular order;

Highland Golf Course:
The Highland Course has the distinction of being named #1 in the State of Vermont by Golf Digest. Playing just over 6,765 yards from the back tees, the Highland Course features a combination of gently rolling and elevated, tree-lined fairways, along with rock walls and bunkers.
Encircled in many areas by stands of trees, and defined by dramatic elevation changes from tee box to green on a variety of holes, this course encourages strategic play and accurate shooting. A number of side hill lies and panoramic views add to the challenge of staying focused and getting that low score.

Lakeland Golf Course:
The Lakeland Course measures approximately 6,570 yards from the back tees and presents more of a links-style design that incorporates trees, bunkers, and water features. A long stretch of the Ottauquechee River runs adjacent to the course, making ball placement and skillful course management key to a successful round.
Its rolling and generally wide fairways often allow your ball to gain extra distance off the tees. With a reputation for playing more easily than its sister course, this course may lead you to more birdies.

All prices inclusive of 6% VT sales tax

Annual Assessment = $3,550 (non taxable)
QLLA’s annual assessment (referred to as QLLA common dues) is a mandatory obligation that must be paid by all Quechee Lakes Landowners. This due is an annual assessment that
is applied to the reserve that maintains all of QLLA’s common amenities and structures throughout the 5,200 acres

All Inclusive Package =

* the all inclusive package at Quechee Lakes Resort provides the benefits of all packages, including Golf, Fitness and Pools, Ski and Tennis at a savings over the cost of purchasing each amenity separately

Benefits:
-children 6 and under may use the pools at no charge
-anyone who purchases the All-Inclusive Package may bring up to 10 guests to the pool at any time, at no additional charge.

Bonus Offer: If you purchase the Quechee All Inclusive Package, you now get
-six (6) $50 non-QLLA guest greens fee coupons
-$50 Food and Beverage gift card for use in Quechee Clubs dining venue
-three (3) complimentary non-QLLA member/guest coupons for the Health Club

-access to teel times prior to "non-GAP" members
-7 weekday guests and 3 weekend guests permitted per week
-4 unaccompanied guests permitted per week

Mid Week Golf Amenity Package =

Fitness Amenity Package =
*this package provides access to the Health Club and both pools

-anyone who purchases the Fitness Package may bring up to 10 guests to the pool at any time, at no additional charge.

Quechee Clubhouse Food Minimum =$500.00
*the food minimum can only be used towards food. Alcohol and service charges are excluded.

Summary:

Quechee is the only true four season resort that offers unparelled services, amenities and pricing. The mandatory annual dues to belong to the resort are only $4,050.00. This price enables all owners and their guests to utilize the facilities and amenities. Of course, if you want unlimited use of all or just some of the amenities offered, you can purchase an amenity package if you wish.....but you are not obligated to.

What Is Quechee Lakes Resort??

Quechee Lakes Resort is an exclusive community comprised of 5,200 commonly owned acres and common buildings, private ski hill with (1) quad lift, a magic carpet and t-bar, (2) 18 hole golf courses designed by well known golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish, The Quechee Clubhouse, health club, spa services, squash courts, tennis courts, swimming facilities, Lake Pinneo, kayaking, canoeing, hiking and x-country ski trails and fishing. The Quechee Clubhouse also offers fine dining and magnificent function rooms. It is worth noting that the Quechee clubhouse recently completed a 10+ million dollar renovation of its facility. It is phenomenal!

The resort community actually resides within the Village of Quechee which is part of the Town of Hartford. The Village of Quechee was founed in the early 1770's and fast became a proud and prosperous mill town. However, in 1958, the woolen mills stopped operating and the once prosperous mill town becaome abaondoned as mill workers moved out of town in search of new work.

About 10 years later, a group of private investors began the "Quechee Lakes Project". After a few changes in ownership and various corporate restructures, the Quechee Lakes Resort you see today finally broke ground in the early 1970's and continues to grow and prosper to this day.
